Hi! I’m June Parker and I am going to tell you how my singing career started. Last month was very important to me. It was the month that I had my first experience as a singer. I had an audition downtown in the afternoon, so I decided to go by subway. While I was waiting for the train to arrive, I was singing my favorite song. You know! I sing all the time. Soon the train arrived, but I noticed that a man was listening to me while I was singing. We both entered the train and got out of it at the same station downtown. New York is a huge and crowded city, so I didn’t see the man anymore. Finally, I arrived at the audition. It was a small studio, but very organized and beautiful. I needed to wait some minutes, which seemed to be hours as I was extremely nervous. When I entered the room, there were about three people there to see me sing. To my surprise, one of them was the man from the subway station. He looked at me with a smile and said: “Hey, why don’t you sing the same song?” The others looked surprised. Then he explained what happened while he was organizing some paper. Long story short – they loved me and we signed a contract. Dreams can really come true!
