We are best friends Theresa and I are 32 years old now and we met when we were 7. She moved to the house next door to mine and we went to the same class in school until we finished high school. We were very different from each other, but maybe because of this we got so close. She loved sports and I spent most of my time reading. She was very talkative and I was very shy. I didn't like nicknames, so I always called her Theresa. But she liked to call me Becks because my name is Rebecca. We both wanted to have good grades, so we studied together almost every evening. She helped me with History and Geography and I taught her Math and Science. We did lots of exercises together. The years went by and we went to college in different states. We met only when we came back home for the Holidays, but we always talked a lot. And now, we live in the same town again, we are both married and we had babies last year. We keep in touch very often and we are still best friends.
