One night a man had a dream. He dreamed that he was walking along the beach with
the Lord, and he began to see scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two pairs
of footprints on the sand, one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord.
He noticed that sometimes along the path of his life there was one pair of footprints.
That happened exactly when he was having some kind of trouble that really bothered
him and asked the Lord about it, “Lord, why did you leave me when I needed you most?
I can't understand why did you leave me when I needed you most? I can understand
why you left me, you were not there".
The Lord answered him, "my son, my precious child, I love you and never left you.
When you were in trouble, during the hard times of life, when you saw only one pair of
footprints, it was then that I carried you".

o Senhor, e ele começou a ver cenas de sua vida. Para cada cena, ele notou dois pares
de pegadas na areia, uma dele e outra do Senhor.
Ele percebeu que às vezes ao longo de sua vida havia algumas pegadas.
Isso acontecia exatamente quando ele estava tendo algum tipo de problema que realmente o incomodava
ele e perguntou ao Senhor sobre isso: “Senhor, por que me deixaste quando mais precisava de ti?
Não consigo entender por que você me deixou quando eu mais precisava de você? Eu posso entender
porque você me deixou, você não estava lá ".
O Senhor respondeu: "Meu filho, meu filho precioso, eu te amo e nunca te deixei.
Quando você estava com problemas, durante os momentos difíceis da vida, quando você viu apenas alguns
pegadas, foi aí que eu carreguei você ".
