America Chavez is chased by Scarlet Witch, because she wants to steal America Chavez's power, which is to cross the multiverse by creating portals. Scarlet witch wants this power because she created her kids through ilusion powers and after beeing defeated her kids were gone, but she had dreams with them, so she knew they existed in others universes.
America Chavez comes to the main universe where she finds Doctor Strange, who helps her against the demons who were chasing her to get her powers. He asks Scarlet Witch for help, because he didn't know she was the one behind the monsters, and he told Scarlet Witch the America Chavez's location, which is in Kamar-Taj
Scarlet Witch goes to Kamar-Taj after America Chavez and there Doctor Strange and America Chavez go to another universe to escape, but Scarlet Witch uses a power through the dark holder book in which she can possess her other version in the universe where Doctor Strange and America Chavez were hiding.
Possessing her other self, she kills many heroes and is about to reach America Chavez, when Doctor Strange had the idea to use the same power and possess a dead version of him in the main universe to stop Scarlet Witch.
When they come back to the main universe, they decide to change their method of fighting, given that Scarlet witch is way stronger than them. They decide to give her what she wanted, they let her go to the other universe where her kids were alive and living with her as a family, but there she was seen by her kids an enemy and was not loved, but feared by them. So she realized that it couldn't happen and decides to destroy the dark holder, what was making her evil.
