Teenagers DO Help at Home!
Tell us about the chores you do at home to help. (chores - tarefas)
I have to do a few chores! When I was younger I didn't have to do much. I had to make my
bed and clean my bedroom. Sometimes I had to help my mom and dad set the table. Now I
have to do a LOT more! I have to empty the dishwasher and vacuum. It's very boring - but I
want to help my mom because she cooks!

It isn't true that teenagers are lazy. My school days are really busy. I get up at 6:30 A.M. and
make my bed. I have to set the table for breakfast. Luckily, I don't have to make breakfast -
my mom does that. My sister usually makes coffee. I have to do the dishes. Then my sister
and I have to make sandwiches for lunch. When I get to school, I feel tired!

I do a lot of chores at home because my mom is in a wheelchair. I like helping her, but
sometimes I get very tired. I have to make my bed, vacuum, and empty the dishwasher.
Luckily, my older brother does a lot, too. He usually has to take the garbage out and do the
shopping. We both have to clean and iron. My brother says it's relaxing!
