O verbo auxiliar does é usado com os pronomes he, she , it. Na aula passada, vimos o Simple Present com o verbo auxiliar do. Hoje, veremos o verbo auxiliar does.Na forma afirmativa, coloca-se o “s” no verbo. Não dizemos He play, e sim He plays. Observe:
ESTRUTURA DA FORMA AFIRMATIVA:
SUJEITO + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO.
She speaks English.
He plays soccer.
It eats a lot.


Nas formas interrogativa e negativa, ao utilizarmos o verbo auxiliar does, retiramos o “s” do verbo. Observe:
ESTRUTURA DA FORMA INTERROGATIVA:
VERBO AUXILIAR DO + SUJEITO + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO + ?
Does she speak English ?
Does he play soccer ?
Does it eat a lot ?






ESTRUTURA DA FORMA NEGATIVA:
SUJEITO + DO NOT + VERBO + COMPLEMENTO.
She does not speak English.
He does not play soccer.
It does not eat a lot.


OBS: A forma contraída de does not é doesn't. Pode-se usar qualquer um dos dois.
