A frase que vou usar como exemplo para você é a seguinte: (There are any coffee here) veja exemplos com a mesma frase só que na interrogativa e negativa a seguir!

No simple present você usa as palavras "IS e ARE" no plural é o ARE e no singular é o IS...

Na negativa você bota o "NOT" depois do verbo!! Exemplo:

There are NOT any coffee here.

Na interrogativa você bota o verbo primeiro antes da frase! Tipo na frase acima o verbo é ARE, você vai botar a frase para interrogativa. Exemplo:

Are there any coffee here?
