1) Past Continuous = past to be (was, were) + gerund (verb+ing)

Many people were going to the Park
He was riding his bike
She was running around the lake
There were some boys playing soccer
He was doing some exercises
There were some kids eating popcorn and drinking soda

2) It was Saturday.

3) People were going to the Park.

Thalitapocoyo11: Eu não entendi a primeira
Zorba00: A primeira pedia pra você identificar frases que possuíam essa estrutura: WAS/WERE + palavras que terminam com ING. Exemplo: He WAS ridING, there WERE some boys playING, he WAS doING some exercises. Entendeu? Essa é a estrutura do past continuous (passado contínuo).
