Segundo o tratado logico filosófico de wittgenstein, as coisas por si só não fazem sentido. Elas apenas ganham sentido adequado quando estão relacionadas a outros sentidos e tudo isso é promovido pela ação da linguagem. Isto é, a linguagem permite a existência do significado das coisas do mundo.
Para wittgenstein, sem as palavras as coisas apresentam-se de forma vaga e sem razões. Com o surgimento da literatura, da língua portuguesa e da linguagem as coisas do mundo passaram a fazer sentido e ganharam significados adequados.
