Hi mom,

How's everything back home? We are fine 1.__________________ we went through a scary situation a couple of days ago. We left from Barcelona to Naples. When we got there, we were very excited to know the city. 2._________________, we thought we could just walk arround. 3.________________, as we did not have much time, we decided to buy tickets for a city tour in one of those hop on hop off tours. So we bought the ticket and started the tour. We went to a number of different tourist attractions, but 4.________________ we decided to get off to have a drink as it was very warm. We stopped at a café and ordered some drinks. I was calmly watching people coming and going when out of nowhere i left someone grabbing my purse and running away. Ian realized what has just happened and dashed after the guy - I don't know what got into him because as you know that's not like him. Both of them disappeared in the streets of Naples and i was left in shock at the café. Not knowing what to do, i simply stayed there. After a while, Ian came back. He miraculously had my purse. Apparently when the thief realized he was being chased, he tried to escape by taaking a number of back lanes.5.____________________, as Ian kept chasing him, finally he gave up and dropped the purse and Ian got it back. 6.__________________, we diceded it would be best to stay on the bus until it was time to go back on board.  When we get at Athens, i 'll drop a few more lines.
