Manhattan is probably the most famous: the Empire State Building is in Manhattan, 5th Avenue is in Manhattan, and many other touristic places can be found there. It's easy to find the addresses there, because while all avenues are parallel vertical lines (south-north), the streets are parallel horizontal lines (east-west). On 1st Avenue there's a famous hospital called Mount Sinai. On 2nd Avenue, there's a nice supermarket called New Yorker's Foodmarket. On 4th Avenue you find Rich's Gym. But it's on 5th Avenue that we find the Empire State. On 54th Street there's a drugstore called Rite Aid, but if you're around there and need to eat, there's a restaurant called San Pietro. If you're a fan of sports, there's the Madison Square Garden, house of the New York Knicks, near 7th Avenue. It's a nice place to visit.
