a) f(-2) + f(2),=

Substitua os valores entre parenteses no lugar do x
seja x = - 2, temos:
f(- 2) = 4.(-2) - 1
f(- 2) = - 8 - 1
f(- 2) = - 9

seja x = 2
f(2) = 4.2 - 1
f(2) = 8 - 1
f(2) = 7

Portanto: f(- 2) + f(2) = - 9 + 7 = - 2

b) f(3).f(4)

seja x = 3
f(3) = 4.3 - 1
f(3) = 12 - 1
f(3) = 11

seja x = 4
f(4) = 4.4 - 1
f(4) = 16 - 1
f(4) = 15

Portanto: f(3).f(4) = 11.15 = 165
