Verbo to be

O presente simples é um tempo verbal utilizado para descrever ações ou estados que estão acontecendo atualmente ou que acontecem regularmente. É usado para expressar verdades gerais, hábitos, rotina e ações que estão acontecendo no momento da fala.

Para a conjugação dos verbos regulares no presente simples, adicionamos -s ao verbo no infinitivo para a terceira pessoa do singular (he, she, it), enquanto para as outras pessoas (eu, você, nós, vocês, eles) usamos o verbo no infinitivo sem nenhuma modificação. Já os verbos irregulares têm sua forma verbal específica e não seguem essa regra de conjugação.
