What Will School Looks Like In The New Normal?
More than 1.5 billion students and young learners globally are affected by school and university closures due to the coronavirus disease 2019 ( Covid 19) pandemic. The disruption caused by Covid 19 led the Department of Education to come up with different learning modalities. The following modalities offered by the department are Face to Face, Home School/Study. Distance Learning, and Blended Learning. Face to Face learning as of today is still prohibited until the vaccine will be out on the market. Home School/Study provides learners equal access to quality basic education at home, to be facilitated by parents, guardians, or tutor. Distance Learning is delivered through different modes like online platforms, educational programs on tv and radio. And blended Learning allows the combination of face to face, online and modular learning delivery. With this new school year, Deped calls for the student to stay at home and be safe.
