Hi, Amanda,

In my last vacation, I traveled with my parents to a small farm in the countryside called “Recanto Azul”. It´s such a lovely place. The name comes from a bird that is typical in that area. Recanto Azul is a very big place. There´s a lake, a river and even mountains. I had lots of fun there. Because it was very hot, I swam in the river almost every day I was there. I also had the chance to ride a horse for the very first time. It was a little frightening at the beginning, but I got used to it fast. In the last day, my parents and I planned to have a picnic near the river. We went there in the morning, but it started to rain when we were beginning to put the food and the drinks on the towel on the grass. Plans were changed and we returned to the room. No problems! Mom and dad promised to go there again next summer. Just loved the idea.
