Hi. My name (1 - to be) IS Albert. My friends (2 - to call) CALL me Al. You can call me Al if you (3 - to like) LIKE

I (4 - to want) WANT to tell you about a problem I (5 - have) HAVE . It (6 - to be/not) IS NOT a big problem, but it is not a small

problem, either. I (7 - to guess) GUESS it's somewhere between big and small.

I (8 - to have) HAVE a best friend. His name (9 - to be) IS Joe, but everybody (10 - to call) CALLS him Joey. Joey and I

have been friends for a long time. That's the problem. Joey (11 - to like) LIKES to

smoke. He (12 - to say) SAYS he (13 - to do/not) DOES NOT, but I (14 -

to know) KNOW he (15 - to do) DOES. He (16 - to try) TRIES to hide it from me, but I (17 - to see) SEE him do it

sometimes. When I see him do it, he just (18 - to laugh) LAUGHS and (19 - to

walk) WALKS away.

Now, Joey (20 - to smoke) SMOKES every day. When he (21 - to come) COMES over to my house, he (22 - to bring) BRINGS his cigarettes with

him. He (23 - to keep) KEEPS them in his pocket. He (24 - to think) THINKS they are cool. He (25 - to think/not) DOES NOT THINK it's a bad idea to

smoke. He (26 - to say) SAYS, "(27 - to worry/not) DO NOT WORRY, Al. I'm

okay." He (28 - to tell) TELLS me that I (29 - to understand/not) DO NOT UNDERSTAND, but I (30 - to think) THINK I (31 - do) DO.

I (32 - to feel) FEEL like it's his right to smoke. He can do what he (33 -

to want) WANTS to do, right? But I can (33 - to help/not) NOT HELP

worrying. He's my best friend.
