A diferença entre going to e will é que will voce usará para quando voce nao tiver certeza daquilo que voce irá fazer For example: 
Will you go to salvador in december? isso é algo que voce ainda nao decidiu mais que voce pretende fazer! e going to é usado para quando voce tem certeza de que voce ira a algum lugar ou fazer algo for example:
I going to the party at night or next weekend.
 interrogative form.
Will you go to Brazil when you finish your studies?
Will we go to the party?
Will he work?
Will she buy this car?

afirmative form
