A diferença entre going to e will é que will voce usará para quando voce nao tiver certeza daquilo que voce irá fazer For example:
Will you go to salvador in december? isso é algo que voce ainda nao decidiu mais que voce pretende fazer! e going to é usado para quando voce tem certeza de que voce ira a algum lugar ou fazer algo for example:
I going to the party at night or next weekend.
