My favorite movie: Amélie (2001)

"Amélie" is a comedy about a young woman called Amelie Poulain, who discretely rearranges the lives of the people around her, helping them and creating a world exclusively of her own making. She's a very shy waitress who works at a tiny Paris cafe and loves daydreaming about everything since she was a little girl. As a child, her parents were very cold and distant to her, which made her to isolate herself as an adult. But everything changes when she finds out a little box full of child memories from a former resident hidden in her bathroom. She decides to give his little box back when she realizes that her purpose in life is making a difference in other people's lives.
The young lady who used to isolate herself before, now has made a few friends, from the cafe she works at to the building she lives in. Things start to change even more when she falls in love with Nino, but Amélie falling in love is just a consequence of her new attitude towards life.

My favorite movie: The stars are to blame

Hazel Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters are two teenagers who meet in a cancer patient support group. because of the disease, hazelnut always discarded an idea of getting involved lovingly, but ended up giving in to falling in love with Augusto. Together, they travel to Amsterdam, where they embark on an unforgettable journey. (I love this movie very much)
