Jenny´s day

I get up at 7 o´clock every day and then I take a shower. I have breakfast at home. I eat bread and drink a cup of coffee and milk, then I read the newspaper.

After breakfast I go to Adelaide High School in Stone Village. I study from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. I talk to my friends and learn the lessons, well, at least I try to. I also play basketball there. When evening comes, I go back home. I usually get home at about 6, wash my hands and have dinner with my family. Later I watch TV and do my homework.

I sleep after that.

No Simple Past, estamos nos referindo ao Passado Simples, ou seja, ações que já foram concluídas.

Nesse tempo verbal acrescentamos os sufixos: -ed, -ied, -d, de acordo com as regras abaixo:

-d: verbos terminados em "e";
-ied: verbo terminado em consoante + "y", trocamos o "y";

-ed: verbo terminado em vogal + "y";

Obs: nesse tempo verbal temos os verbos irregulares, onde não se aplicam essas regras citadas acima. Cada verbo irregular tem o seu próprio passado simples.

Vamos ao texto:

I got up at 7 o'clock every day and then I took a shower. I had breakfast at home. I ate bread and drink a cup of coffe and milk, then I read the newspapper.

After breakfast I went to Adelaide High School in Stone Village. I studied from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. I talked to my friends and learned the lessons, well, at least I tried to. I also played basketball there. When evening came, I went back home. I usually got home at about 6, washed my hands and had dinner with my family. Later I watched TV and did my homework.
