Explicação:

Questions tags funcionam como o nosso "né?" que é bem genérico, mas em inglês ele é mais específico.

As questions tags são sempre usadas no final de alguma afirmação afim de confirmar tal informação e sempre contrariará a primeira afirmação com uma pergunta. Por exemplo:

He likes riding a car, doesn't he? (Ele gosta de andar de carro, né?)

Note que a primeira afirmação é "he likes" sendo [he] o sujeito e [likes] o verbo, então você vai negar esta informação como se você estivesse respondendo ao mesmo. Como seria se a resposta caso a pessoa perguntasse se ele gosta de andar de carro? Seria:

Yes, he does | No, he doesn't. Uma dessas duas.

Como na primeira parte da frase, é uma afirmação, usa-se doesn't e o sujeito he ficando da maneira supracitada.

He likes riding a car, doesn't he?
