3x- \dfrac{1}{2} =5\\\\\\3x=5+ \dfrac{1}{2}\\\\\\3x= \dfrac{10}{2} + \dfrac{1}{2}\\\\\\3x= \dfrac{11}{2}  \\\\\\x= \dfrac{11}{ \dfrac{2}{3} }\\\\\\x= \dfrac{11}{2}  \times \dfrac{1}{3}  \\\\\\\\x= \dfrac{11}{6}

Confirmando:

Troca o "x" por 11/6

3x- \dfrac{1}{2} =5\\\\\\\\3 \times  \dfrac{11}{6} - \dfrac{1}{2} =5\\\\\\ \dfrac{33}{6}- \dfrac{1}{2}  =5\\\\\\ \dfrac{33}{6} - \dfrac{3}{6} =5\\\\\\\\ \dfrac{30}{6} =5\\\\\\5=5
