Modal Verbs

Dentro dessas dez sentenças em inglês, verificamos a presença de quatro verbos modais distintos, o may, might, can e could, e apesar de terem uma diferente grafia, todos tem um sentido de possibilidade de algo ocorrer.

A diferença entre may, should e must, por exemplo, é basicamente que o may irá tratar de uma possibilidade que seja mais concreta, já o uso de should irá tratar de algo que é uma sugestão, e por fim o must indica uma obrigação. Sendo assim, existem algumas diferenças entre eles, mas é necessário saber que os verbos modais são todos auxiliares nas sentenças em que estão presentes.
