Como o desenho mostra quatro paralelas cortadas por duas transversais,nos lembra a teorema de Tales,então é só montar a proporção.

$\dfrac{x}{12}= \dfrac{y}{6}= \dfrac{2,25}{3}$

Podemos aqui dividi-la em duas equações.

$\dfrac{x}{12}= \dfrac{2,25}{3}\Rightarrow 3x=27\Rightarrow x= \dfrac{27}{3} \Rightarrow x=9$


$\dfrac{y}{6}= \dfrac{2,25}{3}\Rightarrow 3y=13,5\Rightarrow$

$y= \dfrac{13,5} {3}\Rightarrow y= \dfrac{9}{2}\Rightarrow y=4,5$

$\boxed{Resposta:x=9 ~~y=4,5 }$
