 GERUND - FORMAÇÃO DO GERÚNDIO
>> RG :> Gerúndio é uma forma verbal , onde há flexão do verbo com as terminações em português ANDO, ENDO E INDO. Ex: estudar – estudando ; vender – vendendo ; partir – partindo . E em inglês se dá quando acrescenta-se ao verbo a terminação ING. EX: study – studying ; work – working .
• Os verbos terminados em E, troca-se por ING. Ex: love – loving ; dance – dancing.
• Os verbos terminados em C-V-C , dobra-se a última letra e acrescenta-se ING. Ex:
Stop – stopping ; prepar – preparring.

 PAST CONTINUOUS TENSE
>> Indica uma ação que estava sendo feita e que continuava a acontecer. Ex: he was playing basketball yesterday. ( ele estava jogando basquete ontem.)
• É formado por: past to be
WAS
+ gerúndio do verbo principal ( ING )

WERE
Ex: + he plays handball with his friends.
Af – he was playing handball with his friends.
Neg – he was not playing handball with his friends.
Inter – was he playing handball with his friends?
C . F - he wasn’t playing handball with his friends.

+ You study with Martha.
Af – You were studying with Martha.
Neg- You were not studying with Martha.
Inter- were you studying with Martha?
C .F. - You weren’t studying with Martha.
