Alguém consegue me dizer se o verbo to be, no passado, está empregado corretamente?
É sobre o emprego de were ou was.
I met a very interesting man on the train. He was wearing a glasses.
In two hours, I learnt a lot about him. Physics was his main subject at university.
He even wrote a book about it. His earnings from the book was very small.
He certainly looked poor. His glasses were broken. His clothes was all old.
He said he didn't care about his surroundings. The news wasn't of interest to him. People was of no interest either.

eu ainda não estou fluente no inglês e por isso não entedi tudo no texto mas vou te explicar como empregar o verbo To Be no passado.
Was e Were é a mesma tradução (Era/estava) o que muda é na hora de empregar.
I/ Was
You/ Were
She/ Was
He/ Was
It/ Was
We/ Were
They/ Were
Am e Is no passado fica Was
e Are fica Were
