Cinderella lives in a small village in the north of England. She has two sisters; they are very ugly. She gets up every morning at 8 o'clock, then she makes breakfast for her sisters, and afterwards, she cleans the house. She works all day. Her two ugly sisters are very lazy; they never do any work because Cinderella does everything. Cinderella is very unhappy.
One day, the postman comes to the house. He gives Cinderella's sister an envelope. In the envelope there are two invitations to a party at the Prince's house. She says to her sisters "Fantastic! There's a party at the Prince's house. I can wear my new red dress and Esmeralda can wear her new blue dress, but Cinderella can't go because her dress is old, dirty and she hasn't got any shoes."
On Saturday at 8 o'clock, the ugly sisters go to the party. Cinderella sits in the kitchen. She is very sad. There is a ring at the door. Cinderella opens the door. There is a woman. She says, "Hello, I'm your godmother. Why are you sad?". Cinderella says "I want to go to the party, but I haven't got any beautiful clothes". The fairy godmother says "Here is a new dress and some glass shoes. There is a golden bicycle in the street. Now you can go to the party, but you must return before 12 o'clock." Cinderella says "Thank you". She puts on the glass shoes and the red dress. She looks very pretty. Then she goes to the party by bicycle.
The party is very good. At first, Cinderella is very shy, but an hour, the Prince asks Cinderella to dance. They dance for a long time. The Prince says to Cinderella "I like your dress and you're very pretty". Cinderella is very happy. She forgets what time it is. Suddenly the clock rings. Cinderella says "Oh no! I must go. It's 12 o'clock." She runs home and at the door of the Prince's house, she loses her shoe.
The next day, the Prince is very said because he is in love with Cinderella, but he doesn't know where she lives. He goes to all the houses in the village and says "Do you know whose shoe this is?" Finally, he goes to Cinderella's house. Cinderella opens the door. The Prince says "I love you. Do you want to marry me?" Cinderella says "Yes!" The wedding is the week after. Cinderella and the Prince are never unhappy again.
The end!
