3.  Adição - addition >>> and, as well as, besides, moreover, not only, furthermore

John is handsome and tall.

John é bonito e alto.

I know your brother as well as I know you.

Eu conheço seu irmão assim como conheço você.

4. Consecutivas ou conclusivas  >>> as a result of, so, once

We were late, so we didn't stop at Susan's house.

Nós estávamos atrasados, por isso não paramos na casa de Susan.

He won the competition as a result of training hard.

Ele ganhou a competição como resultado de um treinamento intenso.
