a. I have looked for the owner of the restaurant FOR 15 minutes.

b. He has attracted me SINCE I was a young girl.

c. They have lived in Brazil SINCE they were very young.

d. The policeman has run after the burglar FOR 3 hours.

EVER: Os advérbios EVER e NEVER se referem a um momento não identificado anterior ao presente (Have you ever visited Berlin?). Ever e never são sempre inseridos antes do verbo principal (no "past participle").

NEVER: Never significa nunca antes de agora e equivale a "not ..... ever": (I have never visited Berlin).
