Primeiramente, vamos entender quando usamos "What, Whose, Which, Why, When e Where", para não restar dúvidas em questões como essa.

What→ Usado em perguntas, para expressar "O que, que, qual, quais"

Exemplo: O que você vai querer? / What will you want?

Whose→ Essa palavra quer dizer de quem, a quem pertence, cujo/cuja, do qual (posse)

Exemplo: Who is the person whose backpack is yellow?

Tradução: Quem é a pessoa cuja mochila é amarela?

Which→ Que, o qual, os quais, a qual, as quais relativo a coisas e animais (vou explicar quando usar what e which já que são parecidos, para não houver confusões).

Exemplo: The book which is on the table is yours. Tradução: O livro que está sob a mesa é seu.

Why→ É o mesmo que “Por que” (separado e sem acento) em português. Usamos para fazer uma pergunta.

Exemplo: Why didn't you go to class?

Tradução: Por que você não foi para a aula?

When→ É o mesmo que "quando"

Exemplo: When will you get home?

Tradução: Quando você chegará em casa?

Where→ Usado para "Onde"

Exemplo: Where is my cell phone?

Tradução: Onde está meu celular?

Observação: entre os pronomes relativos, também existem who, whom, that, mas já que não pede na questão, não achei necessário explicar.

DIFERENÇA ENTRE WHICH E WHAT

What: usado para perguntas gerais, onde quem pergunta não sugere nenhuma opção de resposta.

Which: usado para perguntas mais específicas onde quem pergunta limita a resposta do receptor da mensagem sugerindo opções
