Modal verbs

Os verbos modais nada mais são do que verbos que podem expressar algumas coisas específicas na língua inglesa, e é muito comum que os estudantes de língua inglesa confundam seu significado por conta de serem parecidos, mas cada um deles possui sua devida tradução, significado e peculiaridade.

Com isso, é possível afirmar que as variações dentro dos modal verbs seguem uma estrutura específica para cada um deles, mas uma regra geral que pode ser seguida é que os verbos modais são, além de verbos que complementam outro verbo principal na frase, auxiliares que podem montar perguntas e negações em cada uma das frases.

Além disso, também é possível afirmar que, quando criamos uma frase simples no inglês, para colocarmos um verbo no infinitivo, utilizamos o "to" anteriormente à esse verbo, e com isso, o verbo ficará no infinitivo quando no presente simples, mas quando usamos os verbos modais, não se pode utilizar a estrutura "to".
