Quick and easy brownies
(a traditional American dessert)
Ingredients
 2 cups of white sugar
 1 cup of butter or margarine.
 1/2 cup of unsweetened chocolate
 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
 4 eggs
 1 1/2 cups of flour
 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
 1/2 teaspoon of salt
 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (pecan, walnut or
almond)
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 180º C.
2. Grease a 17 x 33 cm baking pan.
3. Melt the butter or margarine in the microwave oven.
4. Mix melted butter/margarine with all ingredients in the order given in a large bowl.
5. Pour mixture in pan.
6. Bake it for 20 to 30 minutes.
7. Let it cool in the pan.
8. Cut it into bars.
Suggestion
Serve it warm with ice cream.
