You work (você trabalha). Do you work? – Notou? Nessa segunda não tem (are, is, am) auxiliares, por isso foi necessário acrescentar um (do, does). Como você deve lembrar: is significa é/está e, é usado para terceiras pessoas (eu, tu, ele/ela – ele/ela, são as terceiras). Da mesma forma “does” é usado somente para as terceiras pessoas (ele/ela – He, She, it). Observe novamente. She is working. (Ela está trabalhando). Is she working? (Usei o mesmo auxiliar). She works. (Ela trabalha). Does she work? (Ela trabalha?). – Note que na frase afirmativa o verbo recebe um “s” e, na forma interrogativa e negativa, o “s” passa para o auxiliar e desaparece do verbo. Tente!
