Possession Verbs: to possess, to own, to belong...

Emotion Verbs: to like, to love, to hate, to dislike, to fear, to envy, to mind...

Examples:

It is containing a new perfume. (Errado)

It contains a new perfume. (Certo)

She is loving her new job. (Errado)

She loves her new job. (Certo)

to appear:

The students appear confident. (Non-Continuous Verb) → (The students seems confident.)

Brad Pitt is appearing at Friends this week. (Normal Verb) → (He is giving a performance there.)



to have:

He has a new car now. (Non-Continuous Verb) → (He possesses a new car.)

We are having a great time here in Greece. (Normal Verb) → (We are experiencing great time now.)
