there is a trend nowadays especially in the US where parents are homeschooling their children since some terrible school shooting's events, however is a controversial topic, there is the good side of it in which parents feel more comfortable knowing that their child is safe at home while learning but this learning is it really effective? some studies have demonstrated that parents have to face a steep learning curve to finally being able to deliver the basic knowledge a teacher with years of experience is able to bestow their students, so the first issue is lack of detailed knowledge, or even in some cases a wrong knowledge parents are teaching their children, moreover there is also the social aspect of this issue, children who does not interact with other children are prone to have social problems which can go throughout their lives compromising even their adulthood! children learn how to talk and how to deal with social problems most of the time in their schools, where social paradigms such as bullying and even little rows between their colleagues help them develop their character and behavior to society! therefore in my honest view i thought that homeschooling can surely have a positive impact especially in states in which gun regulations are weaken, although it will never surpass the benefits of a real school environment learning.
