What is the result when one subtracts 9 from the product of the root of sixteen and the sum of eight and seven?
Might be a tricky answer.​

The result in this case is: 51

It's not too hard to actually perform this calculation. The most important things here are, basically, understand what the question is proposing as well as separating the data so you don't get confused by the math operation. See the calculation bellow:

1. First, mathematically speaking, the question is saying this:  (\sqrt[2]{16} × (8+7)) - 9.

2. So, we'll do the parenthesis first, which will lead us to: (\sqrt[2]{16} × (15)) - 9.

3. Now, the root of 16:  (4 × 15) - 9.

4. It's a lot less scary now: 60 - 9 = 51.

Again, when doing math, it's important to realize exactly what the question is trying to say get organized with numbers and information in general.
