When it's about life experience it's better to learn from the others, it's better, for exemple, to learn that if you touch fire you're gonna get burn from somebody who did it and regreted it, instead of burning your own hand, but if it's theoretical knowledge than it's best if learn for your self, that way you'll be able to learn better, you'll be able to reseach things, instead of beliving everithing people say.
