for my mother's wounding recall

I am humbled

mourn as my grandmother's fa

I am inspired

emerges in another

I am healed

Honouring each one in me

Where living words bounce between us

The blood of our experience exchanged

In the company of these women

In the company of these women

I laugh

Anonymous spaces turn sacred site

I play

Willingly

Like my pre-teen self

Courageously

I can lay my masks on the ground

We reveal our vulnerability

For us all to dance around

In the company of these women

Synchronising

I need not

Recognizing our flowing roles

and yet I can

In this tribe of She

EMPOWER​
