THE RELIGION
Religion (from the Latin religio, -onis) is a set of cultural systems and beliefs, as well as worldviews, which establishes the symbols that relate humanity to spirituality and their own moral values. [1] Many religions have narratives , symbols, traditions and sacred stories that are meant to give meaning to life or explain its origin and the universe. Religions tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and human nature.
The word religion is often used as a synonym for faith or belief system, but religion differs from private belief in that it has a public aspect. Most religions have organized behaviors, including clerical hierarchies, a definition of membership or membership, congregations of lay people, regular meetings, or services for the purpose of veneration or worship of a deity or for prayer, places (natural or architectural) and / or sacred scriptures for its practitioners. The practice of a religion may also include sermons, commemoration of the activities of a god or gods, sacrifices, festivals, festivals, trance, initiations, funeral services, marriage services, meditation, music, art, dance, or other religious aspects of human culture .
The development of religion took different forms in different cultures. Some religions put the emphasis on belief, while others emphasize practice. Some religions focus on the subjective religious experience of the individual, while others regard the activities of the religious community as more important. Some religions claim to be universal, believing that their laws and cosmology are valid or binding on all people, while others are meant to be practiced only by a well-defined or localized group. In many places, religion has been associated with public institutions such as schools, hospitals, family, government, and political hierarchies.
