$\Rightarrow~~\sf x^2=100$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf x=\sqrt{100}$

$\therefore~~\boxed{\sf x=10}$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf (30)^2=(x)^2+(18)^2$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf 900=x^2+324$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf 900-324=x^2$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf 576=x^2$

$\Rightarrow~~\sf x=\sqrt{576}$

$\therefore~~\boxed{\sf x=24}$
