Technology and other recent social changes ore affecting the way we leam and
schools of the future will need to adjust to new ways of leaming. Experts say that in the
future classrooms will need to have the flexibity to enable students and teachers to
engoge in different types of learning and recreational activities. In other words, classrooms
will have to be flexible enough to be used in different ways.
Also, furniture will be reduced to a minimum and it will be moved around daily to
suit different activities. The same will happen with equipment: blackboards will not be
placed on walls but they will move around on wheels. And say goodbye to blackboards:
they will be replaced by interoctive white boards that can work as a computer screen or
as a traditional board
Some of these changes are already happening in several schools around the world.
