Singular and Plural
Singular means one thing. Plural means more than one thing.

→→ Se o substantivo terminar em ''o'' - acrescenta ''es''

→→ Se o substantivo terminar em ''y'' precedido de consoantes, retira o ''y'' e acrescenta ''ies''

Exceções :

*Observação: No dia a dia e em situações comuns, ''people'' é o plural de ''person''. Mas se quisermos falar de coisas mais específicas como povos ou nações, ''peoples'' é o correto.  

Exemplos:

There is one person in front of my house.

There are two people waiting for the bus.
