Past Continuous or Past Progressive
Usamos para descrever uma ação que estava acontecendo numa certa ocasião no passado.
Ex: The people were having a good time at party. (As pessoas estavam se divertindo na festa)

Formação: passado do verbo to be(was/were) + verbo + ing
