    $x+y = 20\Rightarrow x = 20-y.$


    Substituindo na outra equação:


$\dfrac{20-y}{y}=\dfrac{3}{4}\Rightarrow 3y = 80-4y\Rightarrow 7y=80\Rightarrow y=\dfrac{80}{7}.$
 
    Daí,


    $x = 20-y\Rightarrow x = 20-\dfrac{80}{7}=\dfrac{140-80}{7}=\dfrac{60}{7}.$


   Portanto,  $x=\dfrac{60}{7}$   e   $y=\dfrac{80}{7}.$
