Dentro da língua inglesa temos algumas maneiras distintas de mencionar a possessão de um objeto a alguém ou outro objeto, para essa indicação então, iremos utilizar uma estrutura gramatical conhecida como caso genitivo.

Para realizar essa estrutura, primeiramente precisamos indicar de quem é tal objeto, ou seja, quem será o sujeito da sentença em si, e ao seu final, acrescentamos 's caso a palavra não termine em s, caso termine acrescentamos apenas o apóstrofo. Com isso, temos então o caso genitivo.
