Forma negativa e interrogativa do presente simples

O presente simples é feito utilizando diretamente o verbo principal que indica a ação do sujeito.  Para as formas negativa e interrogativa é preciso que seja utilizado junto do verbo principal o verbo auxiliar Do (I, you, we, they) e Does (he, she, it).

  • Pronome (I, you, he, she, it, we, you, they) + verbo auxiliar (do/does) + NOT +  verbo principal sem o "to".
  • Ex:  Mr.Robinson does not (doesn't) drive to work every morning

  • Verbo auxiliar + Pronome (I, you, he, she, it , we, you, they) + verbo principal sem o "To" + ponto de interrogação.
  • Ex: Does Mr.Robinson drive to work every morning?

Assim podemos concluir que no presente simples as formas negativas e interrogativas sempre pedem o uso do verbo auxiliar (Do/Does).
