Basicamente, os itens nas frases são substituídos por "stuff" e devido a essa palavra ser um substantivo singular, a frase tem que ser readequada a isso. Por isso, os verbos nas duas primeiras frases e o pronome na última frase que indicavam plural foram para o singular.
