My name is Marie Curie. I am probably the most famous woman scientist who has ever lived. I was born Maria Sklodowska in Poland in 1867,. Now I am living in France. I am famous for my work on radioactivity, and I twice won the Nobel Prize. With my husband, Pierre Curie, and Henri Becquerel, We win the 1903 Nobel Prize for Physics, and then I sole win the 1911 Nobel Prize for Chemistry. I am the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. Nowadays I am teaching Chemistry at the University of Paris. I know, I am very intelligent and brave. I am working hard. I am not afraid to work with dangerous chemicals. For me my science is the most important thing.
