Last week I got pretty sick, and I couldn't go to school for three days. I'm generally a very healthy boy, and if just have a simple cold, I won't stay at home, A 5o a school. But last week I really felt horrible, and there wasn't any other option. When I woke up, hàa a sore throat and I felt beat, and I thought I had a fever too, My mom put her hand on my forenead, an she knew I was right. She got the thermometer to take my temperature, and it showed that it was 103.
In the afternoon, she took me to see my doctor, and he gave me some medicine. He also told me to drink a lot of water and to stay in bed for a day or two, I guess the medicine worked, but it dian tmake me feel better until the second day. I'm better now, but you know what? This week my sister is at home sick with a sore throat and a fever, and she's taking my medicine. I hope it makes her feel better too.
