October 31, 2020 I am really shy in public around a lot of people, but once you get to know me I can be really outgoing. So I have a lot of friends but only two best friends currently. I used to have these best friends that I grew up with, but I drifted away from one, and the other changed became popular, and backstabbed me by saying private stuff that I only told her. Because of my past friendships it's hard for me to open up and trust friends now. I also get sad a lot because even though I love my new best friends, I feel like it's different from having a childhood best friend, which I don't anymore. I also assist a lot of people at school with homework and school work. Since I have all A's, sometimes I can't help but feel that some of my school friends are just using me to help them and I don't want to get hurt again. I don't know if it's bad the way I'm feeling and I really need advice.
