Had- Passado do verbo ter

Exemplo:

I had a cat

Eu tive um gato

She had an orange

Ela tinha uma laranja

Simple past- É o modo de passado simples no inglês

Afirmativo

I            was   (eu era/estava)

You       were  (tu era/estava)

He/She was   (ele/ela era/estva)

It           was    (ele era/estava)

We      were    (Nós éramos/estavamos)

They    were   (Eles/elas eram/estavam)

You   were      (Vocês eram/estavam)

Exemplo:

You were teacher

Você era professor

I was in the library

Eu estava na biblioteca

Negativa

I      was not/wasn´t
